Product design, with a design systems focus

Enhancing Scalability & Optimizing User Experiences

I'm a Senior Product Design Lead and Design Systems Designer, currently working in financial technology at FactSet. My focus there is enhancing the scalability of an evolving design system and optimizing user experiences across a diverse product suite — the kind of work that sits between individual product decisions and the underlying structure that makes an entire ecosystem feel coherent.

That focus on systems and scale didn't start at FactSet. Earlier in my career, I worked at Infor Design, where I helped bridge the gap between product and brand across a large enterprise software ecosystem — work that became one of the case studies in this portfolio. Before that, at ASCAP, I drove product improvements as part of a smaller, faster-moving team. Across all of it, I've launched mobile apps, built responsive websites, elevated brand identities, and mentored other designers.

How I approach the work

My design philosophy is simple to state and hard to execute well: create user-centric experiences that are intuitive, clean, and purposeful, balancing business objectives with real user needs. In practice, that means the work in this portfolio isn't really about the screens — it's about the reasoning underneath them: how to bring structure to a system without limiting the teams who build within it, how to move an idea from ambiguous to usable, how to translate research into something people recognize themselves in.

A different kind of background

Before product design, I trained as an illustrator — I'm a Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) alum, and I've worked as an illustrator for over 20 years, running in parallel to my product design career. That background shows up in how I think about design systems: a trained eye for color, typography, and visual hierarchy, and a habit of treating every interface — not just the pretty ones — as something that should feel considered.

I'm based in New York City.
